March 21, 2017: Sales have picked up nicely since the election. I had my best Christmas sales since we began selling at the gun shows in January of 2011. We have done a show every weekend this year and there has definately been a steady increase in the over all sales. I have taken this opperutnity to add lots of beautiful new jewelry and leather bags. I am always looking for older pawn and estate jewelry to pass along to those customers that prefer the collectables. If you know anyone who has some for sale please let me know. Thanks for all you do for me.
As the winter residents return to their homes in the north, and summer heats up here in Arizona the show schedule has lightened up quite a lot. I am greatful for the chance to catch up on household projects and plan for some summer fun at the lakes. Also looking forward to the trip to Wyoming State Fair and Rodeo during the solar eclipse of the sun. Should be lots of fun.
September 29. 2016: I have lots of beautiful new jewelry for the fall season. We have currently have 8 more shows before Christmas is here. Looks like it is going to be a good season despite the feeling of unease most of us have as the presidential election gets closer and closer. I, for one, am laying aside my anxiety for prayer. I find that is the only way I can find peace through it all. Hope to see you at one of the shows We have listed.
We're already making plans for Summer 2017. We will be in Douglas, WY at the State Fair and Rodeo the week of August 13-20, 2017. This is the week before the total solar eclipse of the sun on August 21st. We are going to spend the day of the eclipse in Casper, and then stay for the gun show in Casper the following weekend. This is one of the best viewing areas for the eclipse. Make a plan to be there.
